Autumn is here and it’s time for Pumpkin Spice and everything niiice! I love pumpkins, I love Spices and I love cookies and coffee. Every now and again, especially in the begining of autumn I have the need to eat as many pumpkins as possible and add pumpkin spice to whatever I can. So here is my Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe that btw goes perfectly with our Pumpkin Spice Soft Cookies.
What you need for your pumkin Spice Latte
- 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- a little bit of ginger
Mix the spices together and add them to the maple syrup. Depending on how sweet you like your latte you can add a little bit more or a little bit less syrup.
Just like a normal Latte Macchiato the syrup goes into the glass first. I normaly drink my coffee black but I like to indulge every now and again so I put a little bit more time into this treat. I then make a double Espresso and froth milk. Here you have free reign if you favor cream or soy milk you can take those, but I personally like to have the milk because it does not overpower the Pumpkin Spice. Add the milk to the cup or glass and then the Coffee. If you really really love Pumpkin spice you can add cinamon on top as well but I personally think thats a bit much. If you really want to indulge you can add whiped cream as well. Now enjoy!
